Strange front hubs & Moser axles both w/ceramic bearings
LOWERED PRICES: SOLD ALL BUT HUBS W/O THE CERAMIC BEARINGS
SUMMARY OF PARTS: - Pair of Strange B1324a brake hubs with billet caps, ceramic bearings, Ti studs - SOLD (DAVE M. in Texas) - Pair of Strange B1324a brake hubs with Ti studs - Pair of Moser gun-drilled 33-spline lightened axles with Ti studs & ceramic bearings - SOLD (DAVE M. in Texas) - Set of Strange 2-piece aluminum hat lightweight rotors (front & rear) - SOLD (DAVE M. in Texas) Been a long time follower on Class Racer. Sold my 01 Firebird drag car recently and have some leftover parts. Did most of these upgrades late in 2014. Never got the car out for the rest 2014, none in 2015, three runs in February 2016, none since. I have a pair of Strange front brake hubs (B1324a PN) with custom titanium studs (Tapered Socket Cap Head Screws) and ceramic bearings. The billet Strange hubs and caps were bought new from Strange and sent off to Performance Bearings for machining and bearing install. The hubs have custom machined Titanium studs (1/2"-20). Bearing ID is ~1.25". The assemblies have only three runs on them in February 2016. I have $1500 in them. Will take $745 shipped in lower 48 states (residential or business, no P.O. boxes). If you do PayPal, I won't tack on any fees, but, the shipping address needs to be your PayPal address. I'm in the Dallas, Texas area if local / somewhat local, we can meet up. http://www.performancebearing.com/dragracing.html Talked with Strange today. They said B1324a hubs and bearing size should fit their race kits on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Gen Camaro / Firebirds, the 79-87 G-bodies, and other kits. I also have a new set of the Strange billet B1324a hubs with Timken races installed by Strange. They also have Titanium 1/2"-20 custom studs in them. I'll take $295 shipped for those. Same payment / shipping conditions as above. Also selling a pair of custom Moser axles from my 01 Firebird. They have 12 runs on the axles but only 3 runs on the ceramic bearings from Performance Bearings. They are 33-spline, gun drilled, star flanged for lightening, and have Mark Williams Titanium drive studs installed. Studs are ~2.93" long in total, ~2.074" from front axle flange face with ~1.16" thread length of 5/8"-18. No twist on the splines noticed. I have tried to take some measurements using the .pdf as a guide: A: ~3.05", B: ~1.30" and 2.62" to bearing outside face (ceramic bearing with o-ring ~3.15" OD & 0.83" wide) C: ~31.50" (~3.17" spline length) H: ~1.90" K: ~5.64" Axle shaft diameter at splines ~1.41" https://summitracing.custhelp.com/ci...order+form.pdf I'll take $399 shipped with same payment / shipping conditions as above for the axles. Finally, for now, I have a set of front and rear Strange 2-piece aluminum hat rotors. All four have three runs on them. For specs, see the link. Not sure what all they fit besides F-cars like mine. Saves rotating weight over their regular brake rotors. I'll take $299 shipped with same payment / shipping conditions as above for the rotors. https://www.strangeengineering.net/p...ly-rh-ea.html/ My boys are adults now and never got the drag racing bug. Still will be a rabid drag racing fan and supporter. Email is ruqwikr@yahoo.com. Have plenty of pics available. Serious middle age seller that won't waste your time, and let's keep it that way vice versa, too. Take care. Re: Strange front hubs & Moser axles both w/ceramic bearings
I know the rules say don't bump to the top, but, I wanted to post an issue with a transaction that I'm 99.9% sure is a scam, or 0.01%, I'm an idiot:
On the front Strange brake hubs with ceramic bearings, I'm asking $800 shipped in lower 48. I got an email from Mike A. saying I'll give you $900. I email back, and say, I'm only asking $800, and did you mistype the amount to $900. He said that he wanted them shipped special (but in lower 48), so, he was sending $900. I'm thinking he wants overnight shipping to somewhere on the other side of the country from Texas. Whatever. His area code 415 is California, but, today, I receive a $3650 check on not very fancy looking paper from a Credit Union in Albany, NY, with a USPS tracking # from California, with a label on the envelope from Florida from a guy named George J. I text him saying he must have mixed up the check for someone else, though, it had my name on it. So, now I'm supposed to send him the parts and the difference in cash back. Maybe I'm an idiot, but, that sounds like some scam to me to get banking information and cash on a check that will maybe bounce. Anyways, the parts are back without a SALE PENDING on them because I was about to be scammed or I'm off base. FYI - I can't find his name on any racing forum, NHRA, or IHRA, google about any hot rod / drag racing, etc. Dave |

Dave… I read your post and honestly it looks bogus. You should add to your original parts listing that an acceptable method of payment be made as a U.S. Postal Money Order and parts get shipped when you have cash in hand. Real money gets you Real money and a Real buyer will understand, Reality. MB

Dave you did the tight thing. Total scam. It happens every hour if every day. That check is nothing but a reader. Meaning its only good for reading what's on it and that's it.
