Re: Bogus superchargers?? Naughty, naughty!
Maybe they should institute NASCAR like fines, $200,000 fine for 0.17 cubic inches???
"Long was fined a record $200,000 in May 2009 for having an engine that was 0.17 cubic inches over the regulation size during practice for the Sprint Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway." http://www.sportingnews.com/nascar/n...-hamlin-appeal |

Remember when the most eyebrow-raising phrase would've just been "Whipple supercharger rotors used in the Stock and Super Stock..."?

Good question. was this a shootout car or regular eliminator car?? Another reason for more consistent tech during events.

IF someone was doing this, it will be very interesting to see the field qualifing numbers, as once you step over the line, duplicating performance becomes a real problem (remember all the stories from Wayne County to cover up?)
Pass the popcorn, this could get good Interestingly a finger pointing post has been deleted! |
