Default "Live From" Cecil County-NHRA Lucas Oil Series

Sorry I am a little late with updates. Qualifying and time shots for everyone except comp, alcohol and the top class are just about done, its 4:15 now.

Its warm here, lower 90's with bright sunshine. The sun has been beating up the track pretty good today. It looks like must of the super cars are having no issues. I did see some super stockers having some issues with traction. Hopefully the track will not get any worse.

It was a smooth day and we are ahead of schedule, they are doing clean up runs as I type this.

We had a excellent turnout, if your getting here late parking is just about used up.

Tomorrow we will get one shot in the morning, and then go into eliminations, they will try to get two rounds in for everyone.

Another sunny day, should be the same as yesterday. I will try to get some pictures. Maybe I can get John DiBartolomeo to get some nice actions for you guys.

It should be good day of racing, be back later.

No problem Robbie.

Super Gas is running now, 12:55pm, its the last time shot of the day. They will start eliminations after super gas with stock. We are ahead of schedule and they told us they will try to get three rounds in for everyone. Looks like the rain is coming tomorrow, 60% chance.

NHRA is doing a great job this weekend, over 500 cars and you could not ask for a smoother race.

One round of the super cars are done, They will only run 2 rounds tonight instead of the planned 3. 2rd Stock is about to run now.

We are all done for the night, every class got 2 rounds. If the weather holds out they should get everything done by mid afternoon tomorrow.

I'm heading out in the morning. If John DiBartolomeo sends me some photos I will be sure to post them. I wanted to get some more pictures myself, but I was to busy helping out some friends.

Overcast, warm and humid, but I think they will finish the race today.

The rain has started, I think I will revise my prediction of getting this race done. I don't think the rain will last long but it will probably to a few hours to get it dry.

Thumbs up Re: "Live From" Cecil County-NHRA Lucas Oil Series

Thanks for your great shots and updates, Ken. Was nice to see a shot of my friends, Ray and Mike Sawyer, the Father/Son "Sudden Impact" 2 car Supergas team from up here in central Massachusetts.

Sure thing WJ, I wish I could have done more.

Jack Matyas said the officials threw in the towel -- show up this coming Saturday to finish.
