That is exactly correct Terry. We made bye runs 'till the final and raced ....the Monster Mash....and Bill Spanakos missed a gear!

We went to the barn with Tony Feil and some others and were torn down. Al Brown and various others wrestled with checking the cam which was what Archie thought was bogus but it was good......We took the $$$ and happily spent some of it celebrating at he bar right outside the racetrack......I think we won something like $275 for that win........We were running 14.70's if I recall right and a whopping 93-94 mph!

The protest procedure was in the rulebook so tracks just did it the way it was written. In hindsight...it was pretty stupid to get a win that way.....I'll see if I can find the $$$ and send it back...LOL
