6 AM not raining, Looking forward to a great day of racing

notes from saturday

Gregg Southerland had trouble with his car, so he drove Raffe Karagusian's . Gregg got his car fixed and is driving it Sunday

Tom Boucher had the misfortune of his starter dieing just as he was to pull out of the lanes for 1st rd of the shootout, his opponent Jim Whitehead waited for him, but the starter could not be beat into working, so Tom was done for the day., he has it all fixed now.

I think Tom was helping Vic Santos change a trans, not sure what happened there, Vic went to the 2nd rd in the shootout

It was windy, and a tailwind, there were leaves every where, only one goofed up run for ASRA racers because of the leaves, and it was a time trial. Look at the picture of Bob Moran's car and you will get the idea. There was nothing the track could do about it.

Great gathering last night at Billy and Courtney Harper's motorhome, nice campfire, kids were having fun, adults had a lot of laughs, all good.
