I think Landy was involved in the 383 Hemi deal too. A guy on Moparts posted pictures of one a while back, when another one turned up on E-bay.

The 'Riddler II' was the same 68' Cuda that Pop Joe Coletti ran at the 68' Winternationals. E/SA class runner-up to Jim McFarland, in the 68'
340 Cuda (Sox & Martin car).
The son, Mark, ran the 'Riddler II' to the 69' Stock Eliminator Title at the
Winternationals.

Any new updates on the Coletti Duster you found, because I came across this old photo that shows "three" Coletti Riddler Dusters in the background behind Coletti's 71 Riddler 'Cuda...so which one is yours.

Yes, Myron; John Hagen set the last Pro Stock (pre 500cid) mph record with one of those motor, and runner-upped in a squeaker, to Lee Shepard at Pomona II that year .

I believe that was 1981. It had enjoyed only ONE YEAR'S development time...

I wrote an article (photo-story) for Super Stock magazine about how that 383 Hemi was built. It was in the June 1980 issue, beginning on page 57. If you have any interest in this, and can't locate a copy, drop me an email at Billdedman@Hotmail.com and I'll send you a photocopy of that article.

Charlie built ten of thos low-deck Hemi blocks for Moparites...

John Hagen got one, Landy got one (at least one), Butch Leal got one for his strret-driven Arrow (!) and one went to a Canadian Comp racer with a A dragster, Wally Dyck, who set the A/D record with it... maybe more than once.

I don't think I ever knew who got the rest...
