Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Worked on the fuel rails to get clearance from the intake manifold. Got the correct adapter, -----32, for the IAC and it should work, I hope. Got to work on the air inlet to get the blades to open up all the way. I hate to leave any HP at the shop or the trailer. My friend George Widuch, pronounced VeeDoo, always said if you do a lot of things that cant hurt it will help. I still have a million things to do.
Thanks for the well wishes HB2 and Frank. How can I state this, Patsy is a supervision expert or so she claims. We do have fun and laugh with and at each other. Jeff, Bev Provost, of Al and Bev Provost, would have the head on in a mater of minutes and ready to fire. Last edited by Larry Hill; 07-11-2019 at 07:28 AM. |

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
I know what you are going through. RJ and i built our Cobra Jet from scratch. You will go through every emotion there is to say the least. The satisfaction when the car fires up for the first time makes it well worth it. There area few people who still build there cars from scratch and Mr Heath is one of them. We were use to working on older types of cars so the learning curve was pretty steep. Keep up the good work.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Today I'm off of the gal. of milk weight limit. The doctor said my wrist will let me know if I'm trying to do to much. First things first, get caught up on three days not doing much around our home.
I'm still waiting to here back from the air inlet folks on the fix, it's brand new, on how to get secondary to fully open. |

The fix is on the way for the inlet. Pictures of the intake with all the "stuff"on it. I would have pictures with the air pan on it but it is a do it yourself custom fit. The air pan is a real quality piece. Patsy will post pic

That's going on a stocker: no wonder people are going to late model cars.
