SB Mopar 60767 Edelbrock head - Question
Has anyone done a set of these heads for a 1.88 valve Super Stock combo yet?
Looking for pros+cons and would like to talk to someone who has some experience with them before I buy the castings. Thanks- Eddie Bolton |

Can't help you, I am also looking for info for a Stock class engine. I don't have good cast iron heads, so I thought it would be easier with the Edlebrocks.

Re: SB Mopar 60767 Edelbrock head - Question
I'm working on a set of the Magnum versions for a 5.2 / 5.9 Stocker.
Also have a new set of the MP iron Magnum R/T heads on the shelf.

Re: SB Mopar 60767 Edelbrock head - Question
What you are looking at is that Edelbrock has the heads set up for their on finished product.....you would need to enlarge the guides for your 3/8 valve stems which wouldn't be too difficult but, the question would be if there is enough valve seat material in the seat insert to get a 1.88" valve properly seated with your competition valve job......I have a set of the 61767 Magnum heads done and the seats that were in the heads had just enough for the factory Magnum 1.92" valve. Edelbrock installs inserts set up for a 2.02" intake valve...........
