We had some down time this morning also from a Stocker hitting the wall. Bruce Noland had a heads up in AA. His car left fine and was going straight. When it came down from the wheel stand it made a hard right and hit the wall. The throttle stayed wide open and he cross the center line and the left wall head on. We are not sure what went wrong, but a racer did see something come of Bruce's Corvette before it made the hard right. Bruce got out of the car and looked to be okay. The car on the other hand looks bad.
Glad Bruce is OK. Cars can be replaced, people not so much.

The cell did not miss us, its raining hard, we will be on hold for a while. The Corvette hit hard, not sure if it can be fixed, what a shame.

Finished Stock ,got one pair of Alcohol cars down the track and the rain came .
Looked like it might break for a while but its raining heavily right now and cooling off rapidly .
Looks like very little chance of drying anymore today. .....Now we are just waiting for the rain date announcement.

Word in the pits is that Bruce has a few cracked ribs and maybe a cracked sternum.
observation for concussion.
Could have been way worse as hard as he hit .

Hate learning of Bruce's mishap. Such a beautiful car! Most importantly, I hope he has a very speedy recovery. Glad to learn he is going to be ok!
