Steph Wong became "in a family way" and they sold it. Chuck told me to who, but I'm old so I forgot.
Byron has run SS/JA, I saw where he was very fast in J at Gainsville a few years ago. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago? They can all make SS/JA or SS/IA weight. I can't get my tank that light. Well, me and my tank. LOL

Sorry I spelled Bryan's name incorrectly.

My point exactly! The only way to really do it and have some fun would be to have it at one of the races where ahfs does'nt apply, like the one at the end of the year at Bowling Green.I think someone might have got the impression that I was trying to call you out and that was certainly not my intention. My point was that I knew it would be an awesome race because anytime a Gulius and Keown engine go to the line,ESPECIALLY heads up with no ahfs B.S. to worry about it will always be a blast to watch and a great race. And whoever said something about an all LT-1 race, man that sounds like an awesome idea.

Next issue:

Last time I checked you were still running a 327, unless you have recently acquired an LT-1 or have always had one that I was just not aware.Just out of curiousity when and where was the last time you ran this combo.. BTW,There are plenty of nice firebirds out there for sale so whenever you feel froggy go ahead and leap. And if you really want your feelings hurt (I am assuming Bret built this LT-1 of yours) bring it on down to dyno and I'll let you know how much you really have Remember I'm less than a 20 min. drive for you so its a standing offer.

There is an all-LT1 race at BG, but it's the same weekend we are at Indy. They would have to make a new class for big tires & 4 links.

Come to the SportsNational Open at Bowling Green Memorial Day weekend. Run the NitroPlate $5K combo race, and you can go as fast as you want.

No mess at all Ken........ its all good!

and Aaron..... I don't think anyone got that impression at all...... I certainly didn't.

Besides........ if all the cars that could ...... put em at SS/IA weight for a showdown we all know who would win......that Challenger !

He MIGHT have to connect the other two barrels on his throttle body. Maybe not.

Glad to hear it Angelo, and trust me if there is one other super stock engine builder that keeps me up at night it is deffinately John Gulius. As for the original idea of an LT-1 race, all the more reason to make it LT-1 only. And if we did do a race like the one you mentioned, would'nt it make it a little more fun if the LT-1's could actually run a throttle body the same size as the Challenger.Things that make you go HMMM...

Ken,what combo is your friend building if you don't mind me asking.Maybe that will help to maybe resolve this a little better.

Aaron, same displacement, valve sizes, port sizes, flow rates, compression ratio and HP rating would help also. LOL

Gotta wonder on what planet the 5.9 DP & the LT1 could both be rated the same 275 HP.
