Shipping weight----GT Cobalts and other none V8 cars
Where does NHRA get the shipping weight for none V8 production cars as in GT classes ?????

I believe they just use the heaviest shipping weight listed for that body.
These days with all the pollution and safety features, the 4 and 6 cyl. weights can get pretty heavy!

NHRA uses 2500 lbs as the shipping weight minimum for front wheel drive conversions. Then add 170 for the driver (just like all S/S classes) and the minimum weight is 2670. |
