More specifically you just have to run on it or under.

Ed
I have no intention of only goin 1 thou under, was just trying to make the point. Problem is if I change classes for Indy I'd win class but wouldn't go far enough under to qualify. I think Ronnies Got me covered in EF/S this year. Decisions, decisions win class and not qualify or qualify and possibly lose class Hmmm.

Like Ed said you just have to run on the index (on a class single) to get the oscar and contingencies. No more half a second under.
But that does not guarantee you a spot in the eliminator. It is still the quickest 128 cars.(to the index)

Just go for it, you never know he might break or have the slowest reaction time. I do not have the experience some of you guy's on here but I always looked at just another time trial for the one not running fast enough to win class, just getting ready for the first round(of course as long as your one of the 128th).CR

Re: Do you still need to go 50 under to win class?
Well in "E" I'd be plenty fast to qualify. I'm worried about my Undefeated in Class Eliminations record. I'd kind of like to retire this car undefeated. I suppose it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things but it would be nice.
