Don't overlook the venerable Ford Motor Company 4/30!

The Super Marauder was a force.

If you look close, you will see that the chassis in which the engine is installed is a Camaro. The 427/435 was never available in anything but Corvette, so the owner of this Camaro either installed a complete 435 engine, or the 3X2 manifold and carb setup from a 435 engine. Chevy guys know that the 3X2 setup was available in either 400 or 435 HP versions, in the Corvette. Anybody remember what the difference was between the two engines?

The 400 was a oval port hydralic cam engine. The 435 was a rectangle port with a solid cam.

427/400 had 10.25 compression cast pistons cast crankshaft,Hydraulic tappet camshaft and oval port closed chamber heads,427/435 Hp. had 11.5:1 compression forged pistons, forged steel crankshaft, Mechanical flat tappet camshaft and rectangular closed chamber heads,Tri power setup looks real sexy but a single Holley Dominator makes more power....
