Default Elston motor mounts

Has anyone used the Elston motor mounts for Camaro or Nova? What were the pros and cons. Did it give more oil pan clearance? Header problems, etc.

I bought a set for my car I am building. Pretty trick little piece. You just set the engine down on the "shelf" and it allows you to move the motor side to side.

I like that feature of being able to move the engine side to side for header clearance of whatever. Did you notice that there is more oil pan clearance compared to the factory stands or does it take up the same space.

Calvin builds great and very fast headers. He is very easy to work with and follows up. Having said that his motor mounts are head and shoulders above anything else available. You set the motor down on the mount and you are thru. It is probably easier that a motor plate. The only drawback is that because of the design you must support the rear of the engine when you have the trans out. The mounts probably save over half hour when changing motors.
