Default Ritch Bowers D3 Tech Director retiring

I have been asked by Ritch Bowers to post this on Classracer.

NHRA Class Racers,

With a little tear in my eye I want to inform everyone that my last day working full-time for NHRA will be December 23. Over the past 20 years I can say there is not another place I would have rather worked. My Wife Deb tells everyone I don’t go to work, I go to play. I want to thank everyone for your friendship and support and I hope to see some of you at the races in 2016. I hope that through my years of work at NHRA I have helped promote, elevate and improve the safety of NHRA Drag Racing. I feel like I have been fair to all racers that I have dealt with. Drag racers are a great bunch of people. Some of you have been almost like family as much as I have seen you during race season. For tech questions call the Indy NHRA tech department at (844) HOT-ROD1.

As I had said each week in my Tuesday Tech Question to the NHRA Tech Inspectors for the past 8 years.

Yours for a bigger, better and safer motorsport.

Ritch Bowers
NHRA Division 3 Tech Director
