Mark for many years before you were born I pitted in New Mexico in dirt now I am for sure a "Pit Snob" has absolutely nothing to do with winning or losing a race .The way to win racers is practice seat time practice seat time and Practice just about everyone knows that < that is why the Touring Pros win so much as everyone knows

This holding spots for TD and TS is a joke. There are plenty of other high priced rigs and race cars that should be allowed to park on asphalt. I don’t remember IHRA holding spots for these cars on asphalt.
I still work and show up late alway. so I never get to park on asphalt.

Think how low some of the TS cars sit might be a reason but if I had such a car I would be SURE to get their early enough to get a premium spot. Another reason of course is the the Division offices think TD and TS are what the spectators come to see and want to make that easier to see them if congregated. However, don't recall racers complaining about the fishbowl behind the tower being reserved for COMP cars so maybe we just like to gripe about stuff.

Mr Carter there are a ton of low sitting SC,SG and SS cars.
Comp cars have had asphalt spots for almost 40 years. I don't mind giving up a spot for comp they have paid there dues over the years.

Right on Charley > is the entry cost for all the different classes the same ? or do some of the cars getting preference treatment by having a special pit spot saved for them paying more ? just saying .lol

I am with Charley on this one. The 20-25 comp cars don’t bother me, I am glad to see everyone of them show up.....

There was absolutely no disrespect intended toward Comp. They will always be my favorite class. Wasn’t my point, simply put we play by NHRA rules.

Don, you've been around long enough to know that dealing with the NHRA is nothing like dealing in real life!

MY opinion, spectators come to see what is advertised, hyped.

If the radio, television, print or digital hype two snowmobiles is the desert
of Arizona, that is who is going to get the most exposure filled pit spots.

Thanks, Rick
