fwd trany help
does any body know the exact distance between the transfer gears on a 31th chrysler fwd 3 speed or also called the 404?

art my friend at the trany shop will have one for me to measure thur. then i can forward.but it would be nice to know exact 120 mm and 4.3/4 are to close to guess

Larry, I am working on some new ideas this spring that should help out a little bit. We had it running good last fall. I think we are finally getting a handle on the tune up. These FWD cars are hard to predict when there is wind or bad air. I did a lot of data crunching this winter and have made a lot of progress. The fuel map will be a lot closer now.
