That car is light, why it runs well. Fuel pressure needs to be addressed first, with methanol and a belt drive pressure should be lower in the 3-4 lb range at idle and low speeds, and 9 or a little above on the top end. As far as a carb, either a custom Holley body 950 with around a 1.45 venturi, a QF based 1.45 venturi carb, or a Dominator set up for methanol.
