Re: WTB 9X30 Phoenix Radials
Thanks Allen,
We have run nothing but Phoenix since they were introduced in 2002. Mike Crutchfield is VP of Coker Tire (Drag Race Tires.com), but due to a production glitch they will not have any until mid August. Good to hear from you. |

Re: WTB 9X30 Phoenix Radials
Greg, I have talked to Mike about the Phoenix Radials and I am going to try a set. Have you ever compaired them to anything else? I mean how do they wear, how are they in hot weather etc. I believe that you run Douglas and Valdosta allot correct? Thanks.

Re: WTB 9X30 Phoenix Radials
Robert,
Brandon runs Douglas and SGMP in the Summit series. We tested these tires in '02 on our stocker when they were introduced and they were significantly faster than the Hoosiers. Since then Hoosier came out with a lightweight radial that may be comparable to the Phoenix Other than the durability and consistency of the Phoenix radial the personal service you get from Mike Crutchfield is second to none. Mike is a racer who goes to the racetrack and understands the tire business. Brandon has 155 passes on the Phoenix radials on his car now and his first hint of tire spin came on that 155th run. |
