Thank you for the Generous Donation
Greg Reimer, thank for the generous donation. This donation started American Legion Post #9 Yerington, NV well on our way in purchasing 100 reading glasses that will be given to the VA Hospital in Reno. Some of our Vets come to the hospital with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Our Post has provided convenience kits to all patients and hand-made quilts from three states for the cancer ward. The latest donation of reading glasses helps patients with the numerous forms they need to sign off on during their stay. Again, thank you Greg for the generous gift.

Re: Thank you for the Generous Donation
This is great to read. And I believe Greg is a Chevelle guy making it even greater.
Ed I knew you were helping vets after your retirement. I only have your old job number and would like to help what with what you provided my close friends family in help. Bless you for what you do for our veterans. Please let me know a contact so I may add to help in what Greg has started. Sincerely Chris O'Keefe |

Re: Thank you for the Generous Donation
Eddie, you have made a stand on behalf of some of our finest Americans. That cuts through the political rhetoric. The thing I appreciate, besides being in a position to help, is the appreciation you showed for it. Some groups you can't help, either it's never enough, should have been more, or you didn't do it sooner. The positive here is that some people are going to get something they need to make their lives better because of it. Thank you for your timely efforts on behalf of others.

Re: Thank you for the Generous Donation
Received a very graciously written letter and a generous donation from Chris O'Keefe yesterday. I want to thank you Chris for keeping myself and American Legion Post #9 in your thoughts, especially donating in the name of your Dad. Your donation has pushed us over the top in getting the number of reading glasses that the VA in Reno has requested. It is people like yourself that makes working to provide those little things to our less fortunate Veterans a pleasure. Thank you again for your support.

Re: Thank you for the Generous Donation
You are very welcome Ed. You have personally helped my extended family as you know. I respect and look up to all our veterans. I am glad for the good news of providing the glasses for them. It is an honor to follow Gregs lead and we can hope more follow suit in some way. This is my favorite site and am blessed by all who I have been in contact with here over the years. Cars and racing are Americas greatest bonding lifestyle.
God Bless America. Chris O'Keefe |

Many thanks to those that donated to the American Legion Post #9 Yerington, NV so that we could provide the much needed reading glasses for our Veterans that are currently patients at the VA Hospital in Reno, NV. We delivered 3 dozen today.

Re: Thank you for the Generous Donation
Last night at the monthly American Legion meeting Chris O'Keefe's generous donation was presented on behalf of his father, Eugene O'Keefe, former Korean War Veteran, 25th Infantry Division. God bless our Veterans and God bless this great nation.
