Default Max Wedge engine decals

Want to know the proper valve cover decal for my 63 Max Wedge. Is it the one that says 426 Super Stock? 63 and 64 are different I think. Must be some Max Wedge guys who know. Just want the right one for 63 Plymouth. Thanks.

I did look them up. They show one for the 63. Not a restoration, it's a race car but just want the correct decal to be anal about the right one. Thanks.

It should be the "Super Stock 426" decal. The 426 III decal was used on '64 cars.

Stage II cars came out in June 63. The change was bigger carbs and corresponding holes in the intake to match the carbs. This was only on the 425 hp cars. The 415 hp 11 to 1 cars stayed the same. So if your car is a late 425 hp car it would have had Stage II decals.

Mine is a 415 HP car so then it's going to use the 426 Super Stock decals. I learn more and more about Max Wedge cars from people like you. Thanks.
