Default holley bowl gaskets ?

time to stock up on bowl gaskets for the new season.
so, i find red ones, brown ones, black ones and blue ones plus even white plastic ones [i have used the white plastic bowl screw washer gaskets with good success, but never used them for the jet block/bowl]].

which are best and last longest [ie reusable]?
thanks rod

Rod, I have used the red, black, and the blue one as long as there "non-stick" and seem to be fine....I run race gas so alky may be different....I really don't like the plastic bowel screw gaskets as I have striped a bowl screw to try to get it to stop leaking...The thick washers seem to work better for me as they have some "sqush" and keep things tight and no leaks.......And thats IMO

Do not like the red ones, they always seem to stick, the blue one work the best for me.

Doesn't matter if you use red, blue, yellow, brown or pink always spray them with wd-40 and they "will not stick". On the nylon bowl screws apply a little wheel bearing grease before assemblying to the bowl screw.

Had a Barry Grant Kit in my hands today and noticed the gaskets were red. FYI.

BLP, [Bo Laws Products] is a very good source for all Holley parts. They have a green gasket that work well and is available in bulk pricing.
