The Shoot outs!

One of the benefits of being a member of the Midwest Super Comp Series is the end of the year recognition and monetary rewards for the top 10 point earners.
But the other even more "fun" benefits are the year end shoot outs.
The first of which was created to encourage and reward those racers who consistently support the series. It's called "the Loyalty Shoot out" It matches the top eight points earners in a cost free three round sponsor funded cash paying shoot out.
(Including free commemorative hats & T shirts for the participants and crews)
The second is called "The Last Chance Shoot Out" again it
is a free, sponsor funded, three round shoot out paying the winner and runner up only. It is held on the last day of racing and features the top eight point earners who have not been to a final round and are in attendance. We announce the participants before the final weekend of the year but it is not unusual for some of them to not attend. At which point we replace them with a qualified racer that is in attendance. This year for example Joey Fuestling who was qualified 40th. filled the eighth spot.

Ben Baer vs. Pat LaMont

Gary Jenkins vs. Chad LaMont

Jim Gerakaris vs. Team Gerakaris ( Chris & Greg)

Jim Glossen vs. Jeff Torbeck

With Jim Gerakaris defeating DaChad in the final
(Jim's seconds shoot out win)

The Last Chance Shoot out, (held on Sunday) featured

Ben Baer vs. Larry Reimer

Rich Kwas vs. Dave Livesey (Team Kola Nut)

Pat LaMont vs. Joey Fuestling

Mark Meier vs. Tom Mooney

With the final being Dave Livesey defeating Capt'n Pat LaMont
With a get this, a perfect.000 light and an 8.906!

Where else do you get a free, cash paying, fun race just by being a member and showing up at the last race?
