Memphis TOC race
I plan on calling but does anyone know if you can stay at the track before the TOC race? We're planning on going early (getting there Sunday or Monday) to do some tourist stuff or are there any RV parks near that can handle the RV and trailer. Thanks Robbie

Re: Memphis TOC race
A couple of options for you if your considering staying away from the track. Both are on the south side.
1st choice - Sam's Town Casino in Tunica, MS (about 20 mi south of Memphis). Excellent, very well maintained RV park. The Tunica area has a lot of the major casinos but Sam's Town is the only one that I'm aware of with a RV park. The rates are VERY reasonable. They have several large pull thru spaces (call). No full timers. Easy to get to Memphis. I'm not a gambler (except for drag racing) but I've been accused of enjoying the buffet. 2nd choice - EZdaze RV Park in SouthHaven, MS. This place is in between Memphis and Tunica. Excellent good sam ratings. Not too many full timers. Right off of I-55. They have a few 65'+ spcs. Once again, call ahead. Not as reasonable as #1 but not too bad with good sam membership. I'm sure there's more but coming up from the south these have worked for me. Paul Cartwright (track mgr) is very easy going and has let me stay over before. But when he leaves for the day the gates get locked until the next day. Make sure you have plenty of refreshments before he leaves. |
