Re: Original Hemi Cuda Info.......
Saw that car run a lot. I was also a big fan of Don & JoAnn Grotheer. They had a beautiful pearl white Hemi Cuda.

I think this was the first of a few paint jobs the car had. I would sure like to see Don, I understand he is doing well. Bill |

It obviously impressed me so much that here it is, forty years later and I'm building my own version of that car in my garage. I've also taken a keen interest in the history of the B0 cars, and in particular the timeline of this Hemi Barracuda. And so it goes, the car was originally sold to Jim Wick and called the "Matchmaker", sponsored by Packer Plymouth. After Wick, it made its way to Paul Rossi, then on to Norm Carson. From Carson to George Weibe, the John Mountjoy, the finally to Danny Smith. For those of you on Facebook, I have a significant album of photos I've amassed of this car's history, which can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/robin.mcque...5066313&type=3 |

Re: Original Hemi Cuda Info.......
Mopar68, you are inferring that this Checkmate C/Gas Barracuda is the same car that Jim Wick campaigned?
