Default Kurt Busch coverage during pro qualifying

As we suspected

Super Gas gets some air time.

OK I was I was watching the qualifying and did not realize it switched to NHRA Race Day

Too early in the morning

But still ....

I heard he won his 1st round. Hopefully I'll see it on TV later this afternoon.

AFAIK, they haven't run 1st round yet. He may have "won" his time trial run though.

Super Gas isn't scheduled to run their first round until after the pro finals.

From Competition Plus:

http://www.competitionplus.com/index...t-at-super-gas

Quote:
Kurt Busch made his first official run in NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition on Sunday morning. While his burnout was probably the finest tire-burner we’ve ever seen in Super Gas, his 1.07 reaction time was a little off of the pace. The first time run for Busch was technically a winner as his 9.94 elapsed time beat out his opponent, who ran a 9.87.

I saw Kurt Busch on the qualifying show and he said he was having a great time just being at the race. He thanked Light for letting him race, so he knows he got special treatment. He said that Dodge and Mopar wanted him to race. If his racing wasn't good for the us, then kick me in the head for not understanding.

this is the same deal like Danica was in Nationwide, pure ratings getter for ESPN
I get so mad at times about this but its the way it is, i had the show on MUTE (thank god for that button) and couldn't believe the car looked so crappy inside with no door covers or carpet or at least detailed floor.

Difference here is Kurt wanted to do this and i don't feel is doing it to get attention, now Danica, she is a __________(I'll be nice and not say) just selling her body and has no clue what is going on and there for attention and the whos your daddy cold porn commercials

For the write up, come on man i hope someone that knows drag racing didnt write that up cause in time trails you seen who was in the other lane and having one time trail which cost everybody $300, he wasn't to worried where a guy that had a .107 RT was in the other lane and was real happy to be close at a 9.87.

That's my 2 cents like anybody cares
