Re: question for the ford guys?
loosely based on the Windsor would be the 352 from the 2010 Cobrajet.

Re: question for the ford guys?
Mark - How about an early Mustang with a 289 for SS/LA?

Re: question for the ford guys?
Mark, I'd look at the 1964 352 , with Edelbrock heads.
I know it's an FE, but if he's a real FFFFord guy, he'll love it. The 64-5 -6-7 289 Comet engine is okay, as is the 68 302 4 bbl., I believe . I think the 69 351W is too high, but maybe not.

Re: question for the ford guys?
I just looked at the 69 W ,that is now 260 ,rather than 290..I'd seriously look at that one.

Re: question for the ford guys?
68 Cougar 302 uses a Holley, same 302 in a Mustang uses a Autolite. Don't count out 83-85 carb Mustang and 87-93 f.i. Mustang motors, lots of parts and decent horsepower factored.

Re: question for the ford guys?
While we're on the subject, why isn't anyone running the '65/'66 271 hp combo? Is the HP too high? Seems like it would do well in a light Comet or Mustang.
