Default 3rd gen tire size

I have a question about tire size on a 85 z28.I was wondering what the biggest slick is that i can run with no modifications to wheel wells or very little ? I am thinking 10' rim The car has a 12 bolt and is a ihra crate car and i don't have rear end width avail sorry !! Will need 10" rim backspace also if someone knows? Thanks in advance !!

30 x 9 will fit comfortably if you ROLL the lip of the wheel well opening....

10" might be tough. I had 10x6.5 and since mine is just a bracket car I had to butcher the wheelwells. I had to use spacers with the 6.5 so I tried 5.5 and no way with stock wheel wells. I did use a 10.5" tire so the cross section was big.
