Winternats entries.
Last day for entries and the only classes that are full are the pro classes. All others are light.

Re: Winternats entries.
I have no idea. All the folks I know are going to be there. Maybe the out of towners are worried about the mask mandates.

Looks like the normal group there for Pomona. Fuel prices might be keeping some away that travel from the east. They do have an extra 10 on the quota there at 70 cars in stock and super stock. Most other national events have 60 or less as the quota.

Re: Winternats entries.
Apparently none of the Super Bowl attendees were worried about mask rules. Just saying…but I agree Floyd, the low numbers are a bit mystifying. D6 and D7 are just plain tough to run logistically with all the travel, much of it in states with the highest fuel costs.

Re: Winternats entries.
5 dollar a gallon gas, over 200.00 hotel rooms and California covid rates.
Pomona then the next weekend Phoenix National. Then followed by a double header the next weekend. How is your wallet and available time doing so far. There was a Lucas oil test and tune here in Vegas last week. One C/SA 69 Barracuda broke a rearend and he withdrew Pomona Which also took Steve Wann out of Pomona to catch up on work. Paul |
