Yes, thanks for the reports, Julie. Patsy Hill does some pretty good female reporting also.

Here's a video of the second round of super stock qualifying from a male videographer:

Only 31 SS cars on the qual sheet. Jon Irving is having problems. If he gets thinks worked out, we'll have 32. Sure not the way things used to be.
Super Stock is 2nd out tomorrow. Should cause some movement on the ladder.
Should be done by 10am, I think it will be time to visit some local businesses tomorrow!

A little confusion this morning. Per the schedule given to us with our credentials SS was scheduled to be 2nd out this morning. Stock was called so we thought it was a mistake. Not so and racers were scrambling. A lot of racers parked up the hill don't get good radio reception so didn't even hear the call. I understand there were 2 racers that didn't hear so they will get a clean up run. So final qualifying sheet won't be out for a while.

Temps have been pretty constant this weekend. It's already breezier today than it was yesterday.

Except for the clean up runs Stock & SS are done for the day.

Track seems to be working well. I watched the final SS session and didn't notice any problems.

My granddaughter is here today. I took her with me as I did my warm up lap. She didn't want out when I was done. I have a college fund started for her. I'm beginning to think I should start a race car fund, too!

A few people are broke and already gone. Chuck Echmalion, Edgecomb are both broke. The two Humrichouse cars are gone, I'm not sure why.

Gary's mother isn't doing too well. They went to be with her.

Good morning! It's race day in Sonoma. We have a 9am start, Stock out 2nd, SS out 4th. Second rounds won't be until after noon.

It was in the low 90's here yesterday, felt warmer in our asphalt pit! Temps are slightly cooler this morning than they were yesterday.

I see Patsy's pics from Columbus, all the green grass. Everything is brown out here except for the irrigated vineyards.

We did Mt. Sonoma again last night, so we kept to our goal of doing it every night. My calves are soooooo sore!
