Default Buckeye S/SS @ Night of Thunder at National Trail

This Saturday July 9th will be the National Trail Raceway Night of Thunder. As in the past several years we will again be part of the action for the many fans that attend this event.

Scheduled to Appear:

Bob Motz and his 200+ MPH Jet Kenworth Truck!
Hanna Motorsports Top Secret and GOJO Jet Funny Cars!
K.C. Jones and his Jet Train Dragsters!
Jimmy Deangelo and his '50's Studebaker Wheelstanding Fire Truck!
BLASTRO - The awesome blown Chevy Astro Van
150+ MPH Snowmobiles racing for the NHRA Wally
Buckeye Stock / Super Stock Series - High flying, classic NHRA Drag Racing
JEGS Jr. Dragster Quick 330 Series - Eight Quickest Junior Dragsters on the track
Fantastic Bracket Racing for all to see!

Gates will open at 8:00 am and our first time trial is scheduled for around 10:30 or so. First round of eliminations are slated for the 2:00 to 2:30 area of the day.

Our program will run as usual with the first time trial as the dial for dollars sponsored by Mid Ohio Paving. Put a dial in for your first run, the best one closest wins $100. Parsons and Myers Racing Engines will again reward the driver with the best first round winning package $100 as well.

The Buckeye Stock/SuperStock Drag Racing Series presented by Columbus Joint & Clutch will pay $1000 to win and runnerup will get $300. Round money will be paid starting the third round as always. (second round winners). Entry fee for the event is $100. The spectator fee for this event will be higher than usual (see the National Trail Raceway website for info).

This race is always a great time with all of the fans about the raceway. If you have any sponsors this is a good place to promote them since most of the Buckeye S/SS racers are from Ohio, the Buckeye State.
