Nhra Diaper Rules
This is Dennis Ridgeway DRE ,I met with NHRA many times at PRI as of Sat night This is what will happen Danny told me the wording was wrong they will post something on web,I know this is messed up but they are getting it straightened out. Also they have said in a SFI meeting and NHRA that the 7.2 is not going to be required for sportsman cars and they have no intentions to in the future. This is DIRECTLY FROM NHRA AND THE SFI MEETING . They have a chart of each class and diaper requirements that I gave them to simplify things , Danny said he would print. So with all of this said please be patience lets see what happens .This is as frustraiting for me as it is for all of the racers Thanks Dennis Ridgeway

Re: Nhra Diaper Rules
There is still a lot of cunfusion about rules. So everyone is clear ifyou run a sportsman car all you need is a NHRA accepted Diaper. You DO NOT NEED a sfi 7.1 or 7.2 Also the NHRA accepted diaper DOES NOT need to be inspected every year, they are not dated.Hopefully NHRA will print the correct info

Re: Nhra Diaper Rules
DRE, Does your diaper have the clips for easy removal or just bolts to the header flange??

Re: Nhra Diaper Rules
You wont have to take header brackets loose with DRE diaper also if you run a dragster just go over frame rail, also just take one side down to change oil. Thanks for all the support guys

Re: Nhra Diaper Rules
Dennis, I am interested in a diaper. Car is 1964 Nova with stock front end running a small block. So I need something with a hole for steering linkage to go through.Run s/st now and don't know how long before we have to have one.Don't want to tear motor out to change oil or filter. Can be reached at pverwold@tds.net or here.

Re: Nhra Diaper Rules
Will IHRA follow the same rules or will they REQUIRE SFI 7.2 for sportsman? Also, the Approved/required list is posted on NHRA's website.
