If I were a rich man,-------------------
This will be interesting. Can you imagine what some of those new 60's cars will bring. It will be fun to watch the event.

Re: Once in a lifetime auction
Well today they started to take cars from the building out side for the first time in fifty years, got to help push a white 64 impala 2drht outside on the original tires I might add. 327 three on the tree 4 yes 4 original miles. Can anybody tell me what the window sticker price was on the window? and yes it was there in great shape. The inside of the trunk was just like it was when it came off the truck with the hub caps still in plastic, air was still in the tire. Tom

Re: Once in a lifetime auction
Just saw the U Tube video.. These guys may have been car dealers but they were not car lovers. The condition of these cars is atrocious. BTW who the hell smashed in the roof of the Cameo?.

Re: Once in a lifetime auction
From the video I saw, these cars may be new, but look like they will take a lot of money and work to get back on the road. You can bet the exhaust system is completely rusted. I hope I'm wrong, but at an auction the prices could get driven higher than the car is worth if it was in number one condition.
The building looked very small. I looked at the listing of cars the auction house listed, and noticed about 500 cars. Lambercht Chevrolet could not have had that many cars stored in that small building... Anyone know where all the cars came from, other dealers, ETC... If any good cars are there, collectors will be there in force running up the price to the level of being way over priced. But I would love to be there to see for myself.

Re: Once in a lifetime auction
All I see is a lot of low mileage "parts cars" . Didn't really see any sought after collectible cars in the bunch. 63-65 Impalas are not that desirable, at least not the ones I saw on the video.
