Default What is the Midwest Super Comp Series??

We are a racer run organization started 30 years ago by The late Mark Worden a former NHRA Div. 3 champ & TRW all star who was not satisfied with the payout , time and travel commitments necessary to compete in Super Comp.
We are interested in and focused on 8.90 super comp NHRA style racing.
We are currently anticipating racing through our 2017 schedule and would like get you interested joining us for one of our race weekends.
We prefer two day (separate races Saturday & Sunday) races as that reduces our travel cost.
We usually pay the track a test and tune fee for each car each day plus daily admission for an average of 2-3 crew members.
We average ~25 + cars. We require the track to payout $0 as we collect a separate entry fee of which we payout (100%) of that entry fee back to our racers.
We usually run two time trials the second of which we use to qualify and ladder . We usually race five rounds and we pay $1000 to win (for 20 cars or more) and our payout starts with first round winners.
We are in our 30 th. consecutive year and currently race at Joliet, Byron, Cordova , Havana and Earlville (all of which have found hosting our events to be profitable and usually hassle free.)
We also have a web site www.midwestsupercomp.com that explains our racing format, rules etc.
We do not require anyone to be a member to race with us and we can accommodate racers that wish to bracket race as well.
If you interesting in racing one our weekends and or have any question, comments or concerns please contact us.

To sum it up:
Two days,Two races for one tow
$1000 a day To win!
100% payout to the racers ($$$ money starts with the first round winners! )
Just what ole Mark had in mind, less time commitment, more racing, a more balanced payout. More fun!

Sincerely
Bill Baer

It's a great group of tough racer. They usually come to the lanes paired up and are a very friendly bunch. Always glad to have them at Tri-State Raceway.
