Default PRI Show

All the staff at Pro Media / NMCA and NMRA would like to invite all of you attending the PRI show to stop by our both (#1632) Give us to opportunity to introduce ourselves and hear any of your thoughts regarding our events, classes or rules. We are in the final stages of preparing the 2018 rules and would look forward to any input you may have.

Thumbs up Re: PRI Show

Any and all Class Racers, members or not, need to look these folks up at the PRI show. Best people you can find to race with and still have a good time doing it. Invest a few minutes with the NMCA crew, it will be time well spent.

How about something like Top Stock at one event each year?

Are you talking about the old FS/X class where cars over 400 ci weighed 200 lbs more than cars with the the smaller engines? Or are you talking 8.25 lbs per factored Hp for AA, A, B, and C cars. In Top Stock, sticks and autos ran together.

My suggestion would be NHRA HP @ 8.25 lbs. Nothing newer than 2007. Just for fun during qualifying for a trophy.

How about fuel check, scales and tear downs like class racing is supposed to be? I raced NMCA back when they had the EFI classes and the races and staff were great. I think the more they enforce the NHRA rules the more guys will race. IMHO

It's never just for FUN! I go to race to win it all, all of the time. Yes we will need enforced rules. It is all about I'm faster, smarter, quicker, harder working, or whatever else Today. 'Cause tomorrow it will be different and someone else will be on top. The winner needs to be awarded a Target Shirt because everyone will be gunning for them.

A lot of us hope it gets done!

There was a stock/superstock race two years in a row at Columbus that had fuel check, scales and tear downs...(AND someone was booted for being illegal) AND no one showed up.
So the above quote holds no water.
The NHRA snobbery is alive and well.
Unless you are racing for a Wally a lot of racers will be a no show.

Michael will have to confirm it , but I think around 70 cars showed up at both his races . .Porter had another one at Dragway 42 and 78 showed. Although it was a bracket deal . We were there at both.
