Fastest A/SA - A/S Car
I thought this might be a good weekly question that Mike started. Who do you think are the fastest A automatic and A stick cars.
I think the top cars for me would be... Auto: Adam Keir John Shaul David Barton Stick: Robert Pond Caleb McFarland |

Re: Fastest A/SA - A/S Car
John Shaul's car is awesome and Steve Hagberg still outran him by almost 7 hundredths at Indy. He had 4-8 hundredths on Mattingly and Bruce Noland as well. Not sure what car could outrun Hagberg heads-up in A/SA.

Clark Holroyd's A/S Nova was awful impressive @ Vegas Pts. race. That was his 1st time out in a long time. I think he went 10.13 with 1.46 60' I was up there with him each run and he was spinning his a** off.

Re: Fastest A/SA - A/S Car
Keir's car is the east coast equivalent of McClanahan's car on the west coast. McClanahan's 9.57 in AA/SA is still the gold standard for these cars and probably a low 9.70 car in A/SA. John told me at Indy that he was no longer interested in running for class - "tired of beating my s**t up.". That may change now that the new cars are out of the regular classes.

Hill, like in Big Larry. At 3200 lbs with the driver and new Edlebrock heads, the Master of Manipulation will be a contender.

Pomona 2013. Not sure about the air, but believe the car is capable of 9.40's in "good" Atco air.
