I'm dubious, SC and SG is a cash cow for NHRA, particularly in D7 and a few other areas. If this was were they are moving seems they would have simply opened up TD and TS at other National events this year.

The guy who started it loves to cause trouble over there. He was one of the guys saying that 34 D1 Top Dragsters were going to go out to Indy for the Divisional Race and were going to prevent any D3 cars from qualifying at their own event. I think 3 made it out there and and Mike Galifario was the only one who qualified. He's just pushing to get TD & TS into more events. I mean there was 98 Super Comp Cars at E-Town last weekend @ 170 a pop ($16,600) with what they paid out...yeah I don;t think NHRA getting rid of them anytime soon!
