"1951 Ford Altered Wheelbase Gasser"
Gassers were never allowed altered wheelbases. You alter the wheelbase on a Gasser, and you no longer have a Gasser... you now have an "Altered." No kidding..

True...
What I cant see is, is it a 4 door chop down ? It would then be an "altered wheelbase" as well, albeit not legal. |

Re: Killer Ford w/ultimate power plant!
It's a 2 door. Local guy who goes by "Groucho" built it 4 or so years ago. Most of his stuff is done really well, no billet and chrome, more along the lines of heavy duty, bullet proof and unusual. Often they are sold before he finishes them or within a few weeks of them hitting the street, he rarely keeps anything long term. He does have a blue 63 split window vette he has had for a long time though, done up in period correct wheels/tires/"look"
