Default New Tree at Charlotte

Surprised no-body has said anything about this since it will include the sportsman racers. Like to see what people have to say about it after the 4-wide is over.

It should not include the sportsman racers. They will run down the track 2 at a time not 4 wide.

It's not really a big deal, although from a design standpoint, I would've made the top half (pre-stage) and bottom half (stage) lights different colors to give it more of a visual cue, or have a single 'ready' light when all four lanes are staged.. The Pro guys probably have a lot going on when trying to race 4-wide.

Art, regardless of which "set" of lanes you're in you'll be running off the new look tree. When I saw the news the only question in my mind was when you're running Sportsman do they see only two or all four blue lights...just a bit of a change that necessitates seeing a few pair run and shouldn't be a big deal.

you only see two lights when running two cars (one on each side of the tree).

They were talking the other night that this will prob become the new tree in the next few years or maybe next year. It all depends on how things go this weekend at Charlotte. They said at the races that don't have 4-wide the 2 middle bulbs would be removed and the 2 end bulbs would remain. I don't see there being an issue with the change but, I know there maybe a few people who will disagree.
