Default '67 El Camino H/SA

No rush on this one as I have a couple of other projects to finish before starting another. Good solid body and frame, this will become my ride for the duration. I'm helping my partner with the Camaro which will soon be a big block car...he will be driving it from time to time. I'll update once I begin making changes to the Camino.

Very slick, Rich...El Caminos are cool! You'll do a nice job on it, as usual. -Al

You probably mean the '65 Chevelle wagon...I left it in West Virginia as it was going to be a bigger project than I wanted to get involved in.

Ah, yes,, rare indeed,,especially with the "super rare" twin shifter option! Is it a runner? Actually, up here in division 6, Mark Faul runs a '66 El Camino. You may want to consult him from time to time. Good luck with this one too Rich, but get the other cars sorted out, please. We're waiting to hear some good results. Take care

Yes, Mark is helping me with the suspension right now. We are putting a 396 and a PG in the Camaro atm...partner wants to bracket race with it for a bit while I work on getting some hp for the stocker engine.

The Mustang...let's just say it's on the back burner for awhile. I will eventually figure out how to tune the dang beast.

Pondering a six-point 'moly roll bar install. I've decided to turn this one over to a pro...got two solid leads on some local fabricators. I want the main hoop as far back as possible, probably leaning slightly forward to follow the cab contour. The rear support bars will exit below the rear window thru the bed upright and then the bed floor onto the frame. Will get creative with the side bars to allow easy entry...don't care for the looks of a swingout bar. After this is done it comes apart for some slight body work and new paint...no, I won't be doing that either.
