Re: Ss/vx?
Edited for brevity.
Sorry. Showed up in primer grey a year or so ago while the car was still in development. Looks great in the finish color coat. Thanks for all the technical info.

Weddle says you have to hack up the car pretty good to get one of those in there. And they're only available in an IRS configuration, which makes it pretty difficult to use in a swing-axle car. But according to Weddle, the biggest problem in using the MD in a drag-race application like this, is that the Mendeola MD ring gear is so big, that it cost several inches of ground clearance- when the car squats on launch, it can bang the transmission into the ground. |

Re: Ss/vx?
Yeah, today I came across some older videos of him racing, and I'm not sure if he's always raced the same car, but he did race in grey primer just like you said.

No matter what the outcome, you have to admit that it was a fun match up. Last edited by 6130; 09-26-2018 at 06:14 PM. |

And if he had lost that race, how on earth would an SS/AH driver ever be able to explain it to a lay person? I think the diversity that affords lop-sided mis-matches like this, are the stuff that makes drag racing great. |
