I have had great luck with VP passing . I buy the five gallon cans and they always pass, even if they sit for a year.

If you don’t have a fuel cell in your car, do yourself a favor and put one in. I think a stock tank would allow more of the fuel to evaporate and that is a problem if the car sits a bit between races. Sure you can drain it out and re seal it if you want. Fuel cell is safer as well

Fuel Cell....hmm

Got an 8 gallon tank made to replace the stock tank.
Is there an advantage to having a fuel cell.

I like the having a big trunk to keep stuff in.
Will a fuel cell fit where the stock tank is?

I have had trouble with Sunoco failing fuel check. All out of the same 5 gallon can I bought from Sunoco at the track that weekend. Pass one time, failed next pass.
VP C11 has always passed for me.

Mystery question. How about: overheating, not in a sealed container, contact with direct sunlight or the guy checking the sample.

A change in the dielectric constant check will bounce you. Ask the folks in fuel check....they will offer suggestions. IF fuel has set for some time and evaporated some of the "light ends" of the hydrocarbons will definitely change the dielectric constant. This is not a "he said, she said, they said" kind of deal......

I’ve seen cars with a valve on the fuel cell vent.
Close it when the car is parked overnight to slow the evaporation process.
Open your trailer with the car in there after sitting a while with an open fuel cell vent and certain fuels and you immediately smell the fuel.

C-11 in particular really very noticeable when I ran it.

Temperature effects fuel vaporization along with how well the container its stored in is sealed. Use only metal , no plastic. Race fuels have different Vaporization rates. Read your fuel specs, there's a lot of information there that is useful.

I keep the cans sealed, keep them in the shade. I have taken two new cans to Fuel check, had one pass, one did not. This was when Sunoco first showed up. May be more consistent now. Been looking after my wife the last two years. Have not been able to race. Not sure I wil ever be able to come back.

It evidently just barely passed, then barely failed. Maybe it's beter now. Sunoco refinery is just a few miles from me, and several of my shop's customers working there, I wanted to use it. VP C11 has always passed for me.
