Default Window Net Question....Again

Hi All,

I've heard that according to the new NHRA rules we now have to repalce our window nets.
Just thinking about how much safer my car would be a brand new WINDOW NET! The old one was really a concern for me. ( just being smart).
I thought I read that the rule change was cancelled, that we did not need to change the nets.
So, do we have to change the window nets or not?
Thanks
Regards to all,

Pat I

Been through Tech 4 times this year and the answer is as Tom mentioned, no on the Ribbon and Yes on the Mesh. I had a new one made and NDaired to NC where my Car was and all for notta. Guess this falls under the Muffler rule catagory.

Thanks guys, I was confused because the last thread I read here said that we did have to change them. Tom if you wrong I'm gonna come and take one of yours,LOL. I'll just ask Kathy.
Chuck your right, goes with the infamous Muffler rulling that cost us all.

I hope we do not neet the mufflers. I took them off this year. I will bring them just in case, but I hope I do not have to put them back on.

I havn't had mufflers for at least the last 8 years.
Cut a tire down in the traps at Atco when a piece came out of one of the mufflers !
got back to the pits ,took them off and threw them in the trash, and havn't had them on since.
I havn't seen a NHRA official with a Db meter in years !
