Two trailer questions.
2006 Pace trailer. As we all know, the original company is out of business. I'm looking fo info/advice on a couple of items.
* Is there a place that sells replacement rectangular outside halogen glass covers? A local trailer company hasn't been able to help. Are there different sizes and I just need to call the different manufacturers to see if they carry the size I need? Being tempered safety glass, local glass companies can't make them. * 6,000/7,000 lb axles - Do the 8 lug brake drums share the same shoulder between the 1/2" and 9/16" studs or are they different sizes? (I have some new drums with 1/2" studs but my current trailer has the 9/16" size.) Thanks.

Re: Two trailer questions.
Look Trailers in Bristol Indiana @ 877-475-5665 might be able to help you on the glass---they bought Pace in Dec 2012
also call Dexter axle @ 574-295-7888 several variables come into play here--- like brake shoe dimensions 12 x 2 or 12 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches as well as the date when the axle was manufactured due to upgrades and modifications plus whether you have the never lube design or the convential hub etc. etc. etc. Hope this helps FED 387 |

Re: Two trailer questions.
I'd bet that Pace didn't make the light fixtures that you have so if you take one apart you may find the manufacturer's name and then you can contact them for a new glass cover.

Re: Two trailer questions.
Most any glass company can order "tempered" glass for you. Probably cheaper to replace the fixture itself.
