Default Canton accusump vs. Moroso accumulator

Can anybody tell me if one is better than the other? Building a new car for Super Stock GT with a big block Chevy. Trying to decide which one to use. Moroso is a little more expensive but if it works better then it's worth it.
Thanks in advance.

Installed the Moroso 2 years ago. Set at 25 lbs and sitting over Winter 5 months it still showed 20 lbs!! Quality!!! Have not used Canton - may be the same - can't be better. Just my experience.

I have no actual use comparison but I just purchased a 1.5qt Moroso heavy duty version (just the end caps are different) and it looks very well constructed.

Have had both including the newer heavy duty version Moroso. If you didn't look at which one is installed in the car you would never know. The two you mentioned one is an aluminum tube with end caps held in by large snap rings with o-rings around them and the other has threaded caps screwed into the tube. They both have a piston inside with o-rings on it that slides end to end. Simple pieces really. The heavy duty Moroso version has threaded end caps instead otherwise the same.

Installed the Moroso on a SC Dragster with a 25lb switch, (which cost as much as the accumulator!), and 10lb of air. Sump held 2 qts of oil.

If/when the oil pressure decreased in shut-down, valve opens, no more issues and piece of mind.

Back in the 1970s Mike Canton worked for and developed oil control products for Dick Moroso.

Why the 25lb switch?

So if your oil pressure drops below 25 pounds the switch releases the oil in the accumulator and hopefully back to your bearings
I have a Canton and love it
