Re: The Factory Experimental Cars
Here's the story on the Dart directly from Mr. Paul Candies:
"Woody Car that Chrysler designed (piece of sh-t) until we took the leaf springs with traction bars off. RAMCHARGERS/ GOLDEN COMMANDO each had one. Almost went broke trying to make this thing work; went straight every run (straight left/straight right/straight up) but seldom straight down the race track. After we copied the Logghe suspension it was ok." Pretty cool........... See you at the races, Wayne Kerr |

Re: The Factory Experimental Cars
I think they are a very cool addition to the world of hotrodding. There are a limited number of people that actually know anything bout the era when these cars were originally built & the class of racing that evolved from them. I believe they are a great education for future generations of drag racing fans.
liteweight ps: plus-------- they're just plain badazz freakin awesome |

Re: The Factory Experimental Cars
I had young people looking at the car and they were asking questions ,and then some people had not seen an awb car in the flesh since 1967. I took my car out to 6 races and everywhere I went it was the same thing it was so cool to see people get excited about a period in drag racing that was so short lived.
