Cecil, arriving after hours parking
I know you cannot enter the track for parking after hours on Wed. night. Besides the few spots IFO the gate, where is there an area to park if you arrive there around 2am or so. I am not familiar to the area.
Thanks, Kevin Tiedemann S/ST 145T |

Re: Cecil, arriving after hours parking
Kevin,
Not too many option to choose from except to maybe sneak into the Best Western Parking Lot right as you get off of I-95. The hotel sits kind of back off the highway so at 2am you might be able to sneak the trailer and truck into the lot. Besides that maybe Cecil County College which is on the right side of the road after you bear off of exit 100B where you make the left at the stop light to head too the track. The area is quite bare and not maybe area's to pull over and rest while waiting for the gates to open. Hope this helps a little bit. Rob Keister 1198 S/G |

Re: Cecil, arriving after hours parking
Isn't there a Flying J near the track. I have gotten fuel there before going into the track right off the interstate or toll road.

There is a Flying J on exit 109 Elkton / Newark right after you cross the Maryland Border. If you actually go past the exit for Cecil there is a rest stop about 2 miles up the road that you could pull in and go to sleep at.

You might be able to get away with parking at the Cecil Community College lot. It's on your right at the first light north of 95 on 272, where you would make a left to head toward the track. Easy in & out.

Re: Cecil, arriving after hours parking
If you get off the Rising Sun Exit off of 95 and go the oposite way of the track, past the Flying J/Denny's, there is a Walmart about a mile down the road to your right. Most Walmarts let you sleep in the parking lot.
