It worked perfectly !
I knew exactly how much tolerance there was! Pack the gum onto the hole around the half the stud. Tighten the lugs..remove the wheel and measure the impression. Just like you do with Cylinder Heads and questionable Valve Clearance. Plastiguage is used for Measuring Crank Bearing tolerances. It was simple and effective. Get over it ! |

Carry on, you seem to have it all under control. I have evidently been measuring things wrong all this time. Could have saved a lot of money over the years buying useless measuring equipment when I could have just bought a pack of juicy fruit.
