Bo, It"s great to hear from you, Toprol is used to lower blood pressure and it's non norcotic, so I don't know why else they would take it. Those guys gotta be careful because of drug testing in nascar and pro golf...

I can't find the link right now, but a Uof FL study in conjunction with U of Michigan Center for Human Behavior showed that a regimen of foods high in antioxidents and phytonutrients improves "alertness" by over 30%. "Alertness" allows better concentration, according to the study.

Two large mugs of coffee, after a night of martinis and bs. And of course Stock is out at 8 AM. Then a nap after first round. Problem Solved

And the young guys are all in a bad mood because they had to get sons early. The old guys are already up because they had to pee about 5:00 am. A couple of big cups of coffee, then pee again after first round.

My boss says methylphenidate would improve RT's. What say you Mr. Rx?

This is not funny! Methylphenidate is a stimulant and an amphetamine. Stimulants can increase blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, and decrease sleep and appetite, which can lead to malnutrition and its consequences. Repeated use of stimulants can lead to feelings of hostility and paranoia. At high doses, they can lead to serious cardiovascular complications, including stroke. It is a med for ADHD. Jim

In short, if you abuse amphetamines you legally must change your name to Ed! (shudder).

I used to take two aspirins and a sandwich about an hour before first round was scheduled to be called at the Nats, it takes the edge off the nervousness. If I make it to 2nd round, I'm usually pretty relaxed. When I'm lucky enough to make it to the 4th or 5th round that nervous feeling is back big time.
