Classic Burndown!!
For the many of you who missed it, Mr. Root and Mr Siegler engaged in a 25+ second burndown Saturday night of the Byron Shootout. Leek was going nuts over the pa as usual. Reminded me of the old NCSGA days.
Maybe they can tell us who went in first. I blinked. By the way why didn't more people come and support such a great program. Great payout, 3 chances to race, close to home. |

I agree with 5770, there isn't a better deal than a 4 round race with a bye, bigger payout, and 3 shots to win in a weekend. Maybe the Norwalk race thinned things out, but did you notice the SS racer make the trip from Milan MI to Byron...

Hey Mike...
Driver error....as usual.... I think there were about 75 super gassers....and eighty something 8.90 cars....a nice turnout......and there was probably 15,000 people in the stands on Saturday..... CBS |

They're never gonna get cars when everythings up(gas, entry fees, tolls) and payouts remain the same or lessen. And they put races over top of one another(Norwalk, Byron, not to mention a T/D T/S deal at Milan) in the same region... but hey what do I know, I don't race much anymore... course its mostly cause of all of that... But they'll get a turnout at this weekends div 5 race, course its a div 3 race too which kinda sucks but whatever..
Are you coming to Martin this weekend Roc? I thought they'd get a 1000 cars at Norwalk after they cancelled the Bristol deal... Guess I'm not the only one thats tired of spending money.. |
